Children love technology. So we installed computer terminals and smart board interactive whiteboards in our classrooms. Our educational resources incorporated cross-curriculum to increase focus, retention and group participation.
Individualized Portfolio Assessment
We have designed our own assessment procedure to monitor your child’s progress so that we can report to you with concrete examples of the skills that have been achieved and those that need extra attention.
Each quarter we will send home report cards & progress reports where you will see your child’s progress. Each quarter you will have parent-teacher conferences, where you will see the progress of your child’s learning through our comprehensive portfolio assessment.
Structured Daily Schedule
Each day, the children start the day in homeroom, where children discuss the weather, calendar and discuss announcements. Guided instruction is balanced with “work time” in each of our classes to include: Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Art, Math, Music, Dramatic Arts and Foreign Language.

Written lesson plans containing specific instructional activities are provided for each class session. Teachers structure lessons to meet the academic level of each child. Lesson plans are based on learning goals and include educational activities in the areas of Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Spanish, Music, Art, Computer technology, Healthful Living & Physical Education.
