What is the Discipline Policy?
In order to maintain an environment that encourages learning and individual academic growth, we require the maintenance of good behavior. Any physical or verbal disturbance which occurs within the learning environment and which interrupts or interferes with teaching or orderly conduct of school activities is prohibited. Zero Tolerance will be in effect while on the property of our school or in those portions of any building, other structure on school grounds and while participating in off campus activities. Families choose Millennium Academy because of our high standards of learning, environment of excellence and student/family centered planning; therefore families are expected to reinforce our school behavior and safety guidelines.
What are the school hours?
Our school hours are 8:45am-3:00pm. Students may come into their classes no earlier than 8:40am.
Do you offer a before & after school program?
Before school hours: 7:30am-8:40am
After school hours: 3:00pm-6:00pm
After school hours: 3:00pm-6:00pm
What should my child wear to school?
Students should wear clothing and shoes appropriate for daily physical activity. Shoes must fit securely - for safety purposes open back shoes are not allowed.
When does school start?
The 2010-2011 school year begins on August 25, 2010 and ends on June 9, 2011.
What are the hours for Trackout, Day Camp & Summer Camp
8:00am-3:00pm
How is transportation handled?
Parents provide transportation for students to and from school.
What about snacks and lunch?
Options for parents:
1. Students may bring snacks and lunches to school daily- two bottles of water, 2 snacks, lunch and plastic wear if needed.
2. Well-balanced lunches are available for purchase. There will be a menu available at our front desk. Lunches may be requested in advance or at the beginning of the school day.
3. Bottled water and snacks are available for purchase - $1.00 each.

Do you allow foods with peanuts?
Due to the increase of sensitivity and severity of allergic reactions to nuts we have elected to be a "Peanut Free Zone. Therefore - staff, students, campers and visitors may not bring foods containing nuts into our school at any time.
May I set up an account for my child for purchases?
Yes. You can set up a "Millennium Money Account" for your child. Accounts can be used to pay for snacks, lunches, field trips etc.
